Gac Heaven Fruit
Gac (Momordica Cochinchinensis Spreng) is a tropical fruit found in Vietnam and other regions of Southeast Asia where it is valued for many important health benefits. It is valued as the “fruit from heaven” and is prized for its ability to promote longevity, vitality, and health. Recent research has shown that Gac is a fountain of antioxidants. Big Gac Fruit at Tao Garden Master Chia discovered the benefits of Gac Fruit and is creating healthy food from Gac Fruit. We have prepared the planting area of 1 rai and brought seed from Vietnam. Gac will take 5-6 months to have ripe fruit. Within 3 months of planting Gac flowers; after 4 months there are green fruit; after 5 months there are bright-orange fruit; lastly in 6 months there will be bright-red fruit, that can be used as ingredients of food, fruit juice or tea. This bright-red fruit grows abundantly on vines and is as large as a cantaloupe. Traditionally, the red, oily pulp is cooked with rice and served during special festivities such as weddings. The bright red color generates the desired visual effect that represents good luck and joy.
