Tao Garden Health Spa & Resort, Joy of Juice Club

The Joy of Juice Club is a center of activity serving multiple purposes. Located in the hub of activity, equal-distant between the Dining Hall and the Pakua Clinic, it is mainly a place where those who are fasting come to receive their daily juices, soups and supplements under the direction of a fasting consultant. But the Joy of Juice Club is much more than just a fasting center. Guests may order a freshly prepared fruit or vegetable juice anytime from 9-6 or they may drop by to visit and enjoy a cup of Chinese tea.  The recently built open-air building, complete with lounging furniture and soft chairs, feels like a cozy living room. It is a “club” or place for “fasters” and “non-fasters” to socialize and be enlivened by the ambiance.

The name initially came from “Joy Luck Club,” the well known film & novel about East meeting West, so relevant to Tao Garden.  One of the guests (Curtis McCosco writer for www.healthynewage.com/blog/tao-garden-healing-retreats) aptly renamed it “Joy of Juice Club,” capturing perfectly what we hoped to express. Come & enjoy yourself in this lovely, relaxing setting where you can hear the breeze sing through the melodious wind chimes.
